Less than 5% of all the water in the household is used for cooking, drinking, showering and bathing.  The rest of the water is for washing, watering plants and  transporting waste.  Unless your water causes staining, has a bad odor or is non-potable, why treat the 95% of the water that will simply go down the drain?

Custom Pure’s primary focus is on point of use (POU) filtration – or filtering water just before it gets used.  By focusing on drinking, showering and bathing water, we can  remove more contaminants with a smaller filter, eliminate recontamination from the plumbing, and provide a more affordable solution to a water problem.

Custom Pure offers a variety of choices for improving drinking water.  Which one is right for you will depend on the quality of your source water, the particular contaminants you wish to remove, and the number of people who will be using the system.

If you are wanting a purification system that gets the water as pure as possible, or perhaps you specifically want to remove fluoride, you might consider our MB Series filter, or a distiller. But which one is right for you will depend on the quality of your source water.  If you simply want the water to taste better, then a carbon block filter will do a great job. We also offer a great selection of filters for the shower and bath.

Sometimes whole house water treatment does make sense and this usually occurs with a private water source like a well or lake.  The most serious contaminants (bacteria, viruses and parasites) fortunately are fairly easily treated with ultra violet (UV) sterilization.  Contaminants that cause staining of fixtures, can be more difficult to manage and may require some on-site troubleshooting with a water treatment professional.  If we feel that we are too far away to provide you with the guidance you may need, we can refer you to a company in your area.

Our trained professionals can help you select the right equipment, and if you are within our service area, we can install it properly, and maintain it for optimum performance or coach you on the procedures.

We pride ourselves on educating our customers so they can choose their water treatment equipment with confidence. In fact, the most common reason people choose Custom Pure after researching other options is that we answer their questions. And if we don't have the answer, we'll try to find someone who does.
