The Waterwise Model 4000 distiller is lightweight and portable for easy traveling. This is also suitable for a one or two person household. It will make one gallon of purified distilled water in about 4 hours. It automatically shuts off when one gallon is made.
Custom Pure includes with this distiller a single stage Counter Top Carbon filter. Rather than filling the distiller with tap water, fill it with carbon filtered water. This insures that the volatile organic contaminants are removed prior to distillation and can not travel with the steam and remain with the distilled water.
This distiller also comes with a post filter (for improving taste), as well as a BPA free glass reservoir that can be stored in the refrigerator if desired. The boiler and condensing coils are made of stainless steel. This is an excellent choice if you need to purify bacteriologically unsafe water or water with a very high mineral content.
Replacement Parts: Change the carbon pre filter annually - Carbon CTO Plus (15-CB-1-10) . With the carbon pre filter, the replacement manufacturer's carbon post filter is optional.
